Previously, He was an early engineer at GoPay App (GoTo Financials), Pintu, and Tokopedia - building products that impacted millions of users in Southeast Asia.

In 2024, He joined ByteDance - the company behind TikTok, Douyin, and CapCut valued at over $225 billion. As a Software Engineer in TikTok Shop's Fundamental Business team, He worked alongside 130+ engineers across 7 cities, building tools that serve 55 million sellers in 17 countries. Collaborating with teams across China, Singapore, Seattle, and Indonesia, He launched various product features for seller platforms, contributing to $27 million in annual revenue. His contributions earned him the Global E-Commerce Quarterly Spot Award three times.
He led the TikTok Seller AI Assistant launch in Southeast Asia - achieving over 2x increase in seller satisfaction and over 70% growth in user adoption. He also spearheaded a major framework upgrade to Lynx 3.0 for 8 product pages, cutting build time from an hour to just 4 minutes and serving more than 1 million daily sellers. When Tokopedia and TikTok Shop joined forces, He played a critical role in the integration - helping migrate 2.3 million sellers and their cloud infrastructure while handling $12 million in daily transactions.
In 2023, He was one of the early engineers who built the GoPay App - Indonesia's first payment superapp at GoTo Financials - awarded Google Play Best App & User Choice Winner of 2023. He bootstrapped and was the first engineers of the Crypto investment team, retained a Rp 100 billion license from Indonesian Commodity Trading Agencies, spearheaded a 100 people internal launch, and spoke at a few conferences about the story of GoPay App.
In 2022, He had an opportunity to publish his thesis paper at ICACSIS, the International Conference on Advanced Computer Science and Information Systems - an international scientific journal, in which He was awarded best session presenter.
Between 2020 and 2021, He was fortunate enough to be one of the first engineering hires at Pintu. Pintu is the first easy-to-use crypto exchange in Indonesia with over 4 million users. As an engineer, He built and shipped Pintu's first website and mobile app into the market in early 2020.
Before Pintu, He was a software engineer in Tokopedia, Indonesia's largest E-Commerce company. He was responsible for building and launching beloved consumer products, from GoPayLater Cicil, Instant Loan, Tokopedia Card, and Tokopedia START.
